This documentation explains how to use the Registration, Login, and Password Recovery features of AckySHINE. Follow the steps below for each functionality.

1. Registration

To create a new account:

1. Visit the Registration Page.
2. Fill out the following fields:
   • Username: Enter your desired username.
   • Password: Enter a secure password.
   • Email: Provide a valid email address.
   • Display Name: Enter the name you want to display in the app.
3. Click Register to create your account.

After successful registration, you will see a confirmation message and can log in using your new credentials.

Notes:

• The system has a rate-limiting mechanism to prevent spam registrations. If you exceed three attempts within 50 minutes, you will be blocked temporarily.
• If the username or email already exists, you will be prompted to use a different one.

2. Login

To log in:

1. Visit the Login Page.
2. Enter your Username or Email and Password.
3. Click Login to access your account.

If your credentials are correct, you will be redirected to the Dashboard.

Notes:

• If you enter incorrect credentials, an error message will appear. Ensure your username and password are correct.
• After multiple failed login attempts, the system may temporarily block further attempts.

3. Password Recovery

If you forget your password:

1. Go to the Password Recovery Page.
2. Enter your registered email address.
3. Click Recover Password.

You will receive an email with instructions to reset your password.

Notes:

• Ensure you use the email address associated with your account.
• Check your spam folder if you do not see the recovery email in your inbox.

4. Error Handling and Tips

Common errors and solutions:

• "Too many attempts" error: Wait 50 minutes before trying again.
• "Username or email already exists" error: Choose a unique username or email.
• "Invalid credentials" error: Double-check your username/email and password.
