This documentation explains how to use the Learning and Reading module in AckySHINE. This module offers access to a variety of learning resources, articles, books, and entertainment options.

1. Main Pages/Options

  • 📖 Articles: Subscribe to categories and manage subscriptions. Subscribed categories will appear in a blog-like format on your front page for articles. Articles are available in English and Swahili.
  • 📥 eBooks: Download articles in PDF format. Unlimited downloads are available.
  • 🎓 Courses: Enroll in courses with modules, lessons, and quizzes. Track course progress and view quiz performance.
  • 🎭 Entertainment: Access jokes, SMS, dedications, stories, quotes, riddles, and other forms of entertainment.
  • 🛍 Shopping: Shop for eBooks in the online store.
  • 📔 Library: Access a PDF eBook library with a wide range of titles.

2. Accessing Articles

To access and manage articles:

  1. Navigate to Articles.
  2. Browse through the available categories.
  3. Subscribe to categories of interest to see them on your front page.
  4. Read articles in your chosen language (English or Swahili).
  5. Unsubscribe from categories at any time if needed.

3. Downloading eBooks

To download ebooks:

  1. Navigate to eBooks.
  2. Search for books by title, author, or category.
  3. Click on a book to view its details and download the PDF file.
  4. Download as many books as you need without limitations.

4. Enrolling in Courses

To enroll in courses:

  1. Navigate to Courses.
  2. Browse available courses and select one to enroll in.
  3. Complete lessons, modules, and quizzes to track your progress.
  4. View your quiz performance and overall course progress in the dashboard.

5. Exploring Entertainment

To access entertainment options:

  1. Navigate to Entertainment.
  2. Choose from a variety of options, including jokes, stories, riddles, and more.
  3. Share your favorite entertainment pieces with friends and family.

6. Shopping for eBooks

To purchase eBooks:

  1. Navigate to Shopping.
  2. Browse the collection of eBooks available for purchase.
  3. Add eBooks to your cart and complete the checkout process.
  4. Download purchased eBooks to your device.
