Online Journal/Diary
This documentation explains how to use the Online Journal/Diary module in AckySHINE. This module allows you to record, view, and manage journal entries effectively.
1. Main Pages/Options
- π Create Entry: Create a new journal entry.
- π Read Journal: View and read your journal entries in detail.
- π Journal List: View all journal entries in a list format.
- π Search Journal: Search for specific journal entries by keyword or date.
- π Journal Calendar: View your journal entries organized on a calendar.
- π Journal Report: Generate reports of your journal activity.
2. Creating a Journal Entry
To create a new journal entry:
- Navigate to Create Entry.
- Fill out the following fields:
- Title: Provide a title for the entry.
- Date: Select the date for the entry.
- Content: Write the content of your journal entry.
- Category: Assign a category to your entry (e.g., Personal, Work, Gratitude).
- Click Save to add the entry to your journal.
3. Reading Journal Entries
To read your journal entries:
- Navigate to Read Journal.
- Select the entry you want to read from the list or calendar view.
- View the full details of the entry.
4. Searching and Filtering Entries
To search or filter journal entries:
- Navigate to Search Journal.
- Use the search bar to enter keywords or phrases related to your entry.
- Apply filters such as date range, category, or tags to narrow down results.
- Click Search to view matching entries.
5. Viewing Journal Calendar
To view journal entries on a calendar:
- Navigate to Journal Calendar.
- Browse through the calendar to see entries on specific dates.
- Click on a date to view the entries for that day.
6. Generating Reports
To generate a report of your journal activity:
- Navigate to Journal Report.
- Select the type of report you want to generate (e.g., activity summary, category analysis).
- Apply filters, such as date range or specific categories.
- Click Generate Report to view or download the report.
7. Notes
- Ensure entries are categorized correctly for better organization and reporting.
- Use the search and filter features to quickly locate specific entries.
- Regularly back up your journal data to avoid data loss.
