π Motivation
People/Clients Manager
This documentation explains how to use the People/Clients Manager module in AckySHINE. This module allows you to manage client information, appointments, cases, communications, and related reports.
1. Main Pages/Options
- π Manage Clients: Add, edit, or delete client records.
- π Appointments: Schedule and manage client appointments.
- π Appointment Calendar: View all appointments on a calendar.
- π Manage Cases: Handle client cases and related issues.

- π Reports: Generate reports for client activities, appointments, and cases.
2. Managing Clients
To manage client information:
- Navigate to Manage Clients.
- Add new clients by clicking Add Client and filling in the required details (e.g., name, email, phone).
- Edit client details by selecting a client and clicking Edit.
- Delete clients by selecting a client and clicking Delete.
3. Managing Appointments
To schedule or manage appointments:
- Navigate to Appointments.
- Click Add Appointment to schedule a new appointment for a client.
- View existing appointments in the Appointment Calendar.
- Edit or cancel appointments as needed.
4. Managing Cases
To handle client cases:
- Navigate to Manage Cases.
- Click Add Case to create a new case for a client.
- Track case details, including linked clients, sub-issues, and updates.
- Edit or close cases as necessary.
- Access the communication thread for each case to view or add related communications.
5. Managing Emails
To manage emails linked to clients or cases:
- Navigate to Emails.
- View emails fetched from linked accounts.
- Link emails to clients or cases for better tracking.
6. Tracking Communications
To track communications with clients:
- Navigate to Communications.
- Record new communications, such as calls or emails.
- View a threaded timeline of past communications.
7. Generating Reports
To generate reports:
- Navigate to Reports.
- Select the type of report you want to generate (e.g., client activities, appointments, cases).
- Filter data by date, client, or other parameters.
- Download or print the generated report.
8. Notes
- Ensure client information is accurate and up to date for effective management.
- Utilize filters and search options in each module for quick navigation.
- Track all communications and link emails to ensure seamless client handling.
