Despite their old age, they had to wait for years before God fulfilled His promise of a son. Through their perseverance, we learn that God's timing is perfect, even when it seems impossible. 2️⃣ "But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint." - Isaiah 40:31.
